This charger is built for charging the batteries of the KC-589 portable radio. Batteries can be either attached to the radio or separated while charging. This intelligent charger will revert to trickle charge mode after a a battery is fully charged. Requires and additional wall transformer (100 - 240 VAC) in order to operate.
